Hi All,

We are finally getting around to painting my toddlers room.

We like Benjamin Moore - Timid White , but I know I can get this mixed up under any brand. I always used to go for Johnstones trade.

Ultimately we want the flat look with a bit of durability given it's in a childs room.

I was thinking something like the BM Regal - Flat (which apparently has some decent resistance) vs Johnstones Perfect Matt. They both seem to be high quality and similar-ish pricing.

What would your go-to be?

I'd go for BM
Colour matching can be spot on but often it isn't.
You would need a tester in Johnstones to decide.
I can never understand why people go for cheaper paints when there isn't much in it.
People will try and save £30 pound as an example, then get upset as the colour isn't as they expected because it's a match.
If you are painting a rental or just starting out and skint then maybe, if not buy what you like.
