Which S/O?

Hi. I want to connect a 3-gang switched S/O as a spur (flush-mounted - the usual plastic type). When I have installed a 3-gang previously (as a spur), it was surface-mounted with the box and there was just one connection to be made with the cable. I don't want to chisel out a 3-gang back-box-sized cavity in order to make one connection to the 3-gang s/o if I can help it. Is it possible to do it another way?

sorry but if you want to flush mount a 3 gang socket then you are going to have to make a hole for the corresponding size of box.
