Which trawel is better for this job?

Hi everyone, I have to help a friend tiling a 3x3m kitchen floor with ceramic 300x600mm tiles.
I have 2 trowels, a square 8mm notch and a 20mm round notch.
Which one would you use?
The subfloor is a perfectly levelled solid (few years old self levelling compound previously covered by floating laminate).

8mm if its flat.

Yes, very flat.
In fact, i wish i knew the guys who finished this floor, never seen something so levelled.
