Which wood for boxing in?

Hi all

I’m boxing in some pipework in my downstairs toilet, I was going to baton along the wall above the pipework and connect off that.

What type of wood is recommended for boxing in?

Plywood 9mm.
Or, if you like white, use upvc fascia to make your boxing.
Very easy to keep clean and maintenance free.
