HI....I hope someone may be able to help me!
We have recently moved into a property that currently has a Whirlpool Gas Hob. It's quite an old Hob and unfortunately I don't actually know the model number - although it looks very similar to AKM200WH

Currently the ignition switch is a white stick like thing with a metal nut around it. It's hard to switch on.

We're trying to replace it and have ordered a replacement switch. However, I haven't got a clue where to start - especially as this white stick switch doesn't seem to be the norm. Can anyone please help?

Many Thanks,
Hayley

It appears that the actual switch knob / button is missing, if this hob is fitted with an ignition transformer then the switch will just be a momentary push to make switch.
I have googled the number you gave, if you put 'ignition' in the search box
it should show you the part you require.
