Thought I try here does anyone know any engineers that are up to speed on these things and are in the London area (Notting Hill). I have an unknown unit sitting under a client's bath that has not been used for a while and the new tennants want it working.

Not my thing I'm afraid but can't seem to find anyone around.

many thanks!

I'd suggest you ask a service plumber to look at it. There's rumours of health issues with the gank that sits in the jets when not used.

A decent chemical clean out and a flush through of the pipes and filters will be necessary. The same guy should be able to check / clean / activate the pump.

A service plumber is who I'm looking for. I've tried a couple but none want to touch it - can't blame them really; it's the same reason why I don't want to do it.
