Hi all,

Looking for some advice and peace of mind!

I was drilling into a bedroom wall today at home and a small, 20pm size part of the plaster cracked away. It exposed these layers down to the brick.

The house is possibly Edwardian to 1930s era, but I can't be certain. It has had extensive renovation over the last 20 years.

I am most concerned by the white layer of plaster which I think is applied direct to the grey block and has some old yellow paint layered on top.

Just wanted to find out if any experts could help me identify whether the white layer is dangerous. at the time I stupidly vacuumed up the pieces and have repaired with filler and paint but starting to worry now....
