Hello everyone,

I'm after some advice. I've been restoring the front door and frame of my house. It's a door with a large window above it. I've replaced the window.

The doors and the windows of the property, built 1887, have cement beads or architraves between the window / door frames and the brick. This covers up the gap in the cavity.

I've replaced all the all the old sash windows with PVC. They have these plastic architraves fitted. All the concrete architraves around the door is broken. I thought to remove it all and replaced with plastic. Would it look odd having a white gloss door frame and then White Plastic Architraves?

Thanks

J
