There is white powder coming up in places through my garage floor, I presume this is dome form of efflorescent. The floor has been painted in the past with floor paint and I would like to redo this.
What preparation should I do before putting fresh paint on. Is there some sort of barrier I can apply first prior to painting, and as there is already paint on the floor would this 'barrier' adhere to the existing old paint.
If anyone can recommend a product for this it would be much appreciated.
