White powdery residue / marks on TV

The TV has only been put There 5 days ago. The marks come off easily if I run my finger over them. It seems like white powdery / woolly dust.
Would this be mould? The central heating is broken and the moment and gas fire has been on most of the time, could that have anything to do with it and is it something to be concerned about?

Maybe condensation which has dried out as the room heats up.

The shape of the tide marks suggests the TV had been laid flat or was wrapped in plastic in storage.

If it works that's the main thing.

I think it’s static atttracting dust.

wipe it all off, use a little household disinfectant on a cloth and that should get rid of it.

It's if it returns that you then need to worry.
