My kitchen floor is uneven and has crappy hard plastic council tiles on it stuck with nasty black glue..
I am re-furbishing the kitchen and will be re-doing the floor.
I need the old stuff ripping up and the floor latexing level..
don't have the skills / can't be bothered to DIM, so who do i need to call in to do it?
general builder, carpet fitters, or are there specialist flooring people out there?
I'm thinking of re-laying with self adhesive vinyl tiles ( since these can be replaced individually if they get damaged or worn.. )
the other options are a decent lino / vinyl floor, or possibly laminate..
If i go the laminate route, do i need to strip the floor or can i take the unevenness out with the underlay?
EDIT:
as an afterthought to another idea, what is the thickest i can make latex / SLC up to?
think I could make it up to about 10mm?...
