Clearly didn't want the additional work to move the drain. I know of one where the drain is in similar position from the wall. Hoping I don't get asked to change it....
Just get a BO pan. normally around 275mm centres from wall. There's a few to choose from to suit most tastes.

Thats the least of their worries! The pipework around the ceiling is shocking, the cold feed to the shower is just as bad. Why is the shower cubicle at a different plane to the skirting!?

It's the waste from the basin, going through the floor to hook up to the 4" for the wc!
You can see its reflection in the shower screen... the bleach has been put there to hide it in the photo
Can't see the problem, may look unsightly but it is serving a purpose, e.g, have a carp.
