Who's ever fitted a venturi type shower? Advice please

I have been looking at the Venturi type showers - Tevi Boost in particular - problem is no local plumbers merchants seem to know anything about them and I've never seen one plumbed in to judge how good they are.

Has anyone any experience with these showers and are they really any good?
My mains pressure is good, so according to the information, it should work well! Someone did say though that they are no better than a standard mixer - turn up the temp. and the flow drops!

Fitted one a few years ago, the hot water temp has to be above a certain level and enough of it for it to work properly, if I remember correctly it worked ok, never had to go back to it anyway so must have been.
