Why won't my Master van start?

Hi,
I have a Renault Master Diesel 2500 2004 van, and today for the first time it wouldn't start, showing an error flashing led on the Dashboard consol.

I notice that I had left the window open, and wondered if it could be some sort of alarm process, but doubt that really.

The battery spins the engine fast as usual.
I could check that fuel is getting to the engine, but also doubt that because of the flashing led.

Any ideas please?

Immobiliser problem I think....try locking the van, waiting a minute or two then opening it and try immediately to start up.

Correct! I tried it today, and all is well again, thanks.

I locket it agin, then tried again and it wouldn't open, I tried my second key, and it openned. Flat battery 2.8V.

I looked for a spare and only had and old one, which I checked and found it to be 3.3V, nice.

Time to get a spare battery.
