Who knows - but for what purpose would one use a "300V/500V" rated cable of large CSA other than 'mains', or some near-equivalent thereto?I don't know why it's not suitable for mains, but my guess is it will be something to with the shield. Maybe it isn't able to safely handle the fault current if it were shorted to a live conductor.
