Hi;

I am erecting a workshop on the opposite side of the path to my garage. Question what would be the minimum comfortable gap between the two buildings?

TVM

900mm. Enough for a micro digger if you ever need it and comfortable taking a barrow through.

standard internal doorway is about 762mm about 740 between door stops
560 seems to be a wheelbarrow width so aiming for maybe 610mm with garden gate frame and stops in place may be a place to start keeping in mind a garden gate will tend to encroach on the opening by perhaps 40mm gate side at just over 90% open

Thanks - I have made the gap 890mm which allows for two gate posts and enough room to walk through.
You couldn't get a Micro digger in our garden - the path is designed so that a Donkey would get lost!!
