My wife has recently made my tea on the hob, although she has turned the cooker knob round so the zero on the dial corresponds to the marker should i get an rgi in to test it is not passing?, last year I knew how to do it as I was gas safe but I havent renewed my subscription so have obviously forgotten how to check. Worried of Wolverhampton.

Definitely DO NOT ATTEMPT a DIY repair. Leave the building immediately and call the emergency services.Forgetting to renew a subscription doesn't also mean brain drains of knowledge, unless of course it wasn't there in the first place.
