I showed my wife how to top up the pressure on the boiler. Vaillant eco plus 837 2008.

She’s left it open for 2 hours. I’ve just sorted it and all back to normal.

I don’t understand where the excess water has gone though. I have some water under the filter area under the boiler and that’s it.

No water under the blow off copper pipe and I can’t see any drips from it.

Our condensate is plumbed into the soil pipe. Would the water be going out this way?

Can’t see any leaks in the house

Perhaps your water pressure to the house is low but just high enough to pressurise your system? What was the pressure in your system after leaving the top up open for 2 hours?

The pressure sensor is faulty and a new one comes tomorrow. So I am changing it.

We’ve been having the F 75 fault.

Yes we have the boiler at the top of our semi (not flat but i was working on a high flat and might have posted about it).

It is in the attic which is a converted bedroom. So from ground level it is up at 7-8m high.

I might call valliant to check with them.
