Hi, the tap tails I have which are around 360mm and came with the tap, the nearest I can find to buy at Screwfix etc are 500mm

Obviously it will have more twists in it, will that be ok ?

Thanks

Yes it will be ok but why will it have more twists in it. If you mean bends then ensure they dont form a kink that might flaten the pipe and reduce the flow

The flexi pipes that come with the taps, I would always extend the copper hot and cold pipes to meet the tap connectors be it flexi or into base of the tap ( pillar taps ) Have always done it that way
Bending a coper pipe to follow a bend is a lot better looking than unsupported pile of flexi pipes and plastic plumbing

Also unlike flexis it will last indefinitely, and if it's a stainless steel kitchen sink it will add some useful stiffness to the taps. More trouble but worth it IMO.
