Will a Flexi pipe seal on this please?

I’ve recently purchased these deck taps from Toolstation
Quality looks really good however I’m a little nervous around whether the braided Flexi pipes that I’ve purchased which has a rubber seal, will it seal correctly to the bottom of the thread as it looks like there may be a very slight chamfer

I seem to recall seeing a video on YouTube video on it :

If you are talking about connecting to iso valves then buy a flat top valve.You could also add a fibre washer into the nut if you are worried about the rubber washer.

1. If you are talking about connecting to the threaded tap shank there is enough flat surface for the connector seal to sit on. Should be fine.
2. Connect, turn on water, observe. No leak = fine.

They are multi fit, they will take a flexi rubber seal fit, a tap connector/fibre washer fit as well as a compression/olive fit.

With a rubber flexi then hand tight and half a turn should be all it needs. Water on slowly and check for leaks, if so then another nip up should do it.
