will combi boiler heating run with mains water turned off?

to my simple mind, it seems yes?! I have responsibility for a vacant domestic property 140 miles away and want to turn the mains water off so in the event of a leak, theres not much damage but would still want the house to be heated minimally. The property has mains gas fired combi boiler heating system.

so can I turn off the mains water and still have the heating on?
 
15 degrees BLIMEY lol

I leave mine at 5 degrees whem im away from home for a while!

Does that mean i'm mean? ;)
 
thanks, thats good news. I think the 15 degrees comes from insurance requirements for covering empty homes?
