I have recently bought a house and looking at the pictures I've noticed one of the uPVC window boards was cracked (see attached). Can I just pull off (carefully) the window board and replace with a new one? It feels like it is just a cap stuck on to something else. I've read you need to do this before plastering but I wasn't planning on plastering so thought I'd see if anyone has any advice? I'm probably just being stupid.

Thanks

They are often just bonded in place using a grip adhesive or low expansion foam
