Hi all hopefully this will be a really simple one.

Just had windows in my extension installed, the sizes ended up being slightly out so joiner has used shims under the brackets to get the mounting.

As far as covering them over when it comes to finishing (ie plasterboarding) what would be the best practice? Board up between and then fill and smooth over them with a mud/compound?

Cheers

9.5mm plasterboard between the packers first. Then fix regular 12.5mm on top or dab if you want the reveals to stand off a wee bit more. However, now that the foam has grabbed that window, you could probably lose the packer and screw back to the studs.
