Window gap

I have a small but meaningful gap between one of my hinged windows and the frame. It’s enough to feel the wind rushing in.

Is there some shim or adjustment I can make?

Hi,

What side/s of the window is the gap on?
It may be that the seals are old and have compressed; new gasket seals may help.

Sometimes though, the problem is caused by a worn hinge; if this is the case, a replacement hinge is the best option.

Thanks. It’s the bottom edge. It’s a front of house facing window, so it’s barely used

If the gap is the hinge side of the window , as Randomgrinch alludes to , it will more than likely be the hinges have worn. Unfortunately can't tell from your picture where the hinges are located
