Hello There,
I had some windows replaced and need to to obtain a certificate for compliance.
The installer is not registered but said I can obtain one from the council at a cost.
He stated I need to call the local buildings controls department and ask for a surveyor to come out and inspect the windows and will then hopefully issue a certificate.
Is it my responsibility to do this or is can the fitter do this on my behalf?
