can anyone tell me the best place to get wire mesh from,l,ve looked on the internet sites for b&q, wickes, and homebase and don,t think they sell the stuff.

Are you talking "chicken wire" ? If so you're local handy man is a good bet (keep the small man going, not the big conglomerates). If chain link is what you're after, a builders merchants like buildbase or jewsons should sort you out. I like my local jewsons, if they can't sort me out , the lads behind the counter tell me where to go, they even phoned the opposition for me once and reserved what I was after !! Nice fellas.
