Wire spec for cooker, full MCB to outlet details attached

thanks for the advice guys. Re the method column, sorry thought my leg was being pulled!!

So, whats the definitive answer to my original query, or is there not one for the DIYer and it needs and electrician to actually connect the cooker to the wall.

I get a 45A MCB and put it in the CU
I use 6mm twin and earth to connect the cooker to the wall

Will the place go up in flames / endanger the users of the cooker?!

It's a bit on the cusp IMO, I would use 10mm if it were me.


What brand fuseboard do you have?
