wireless cylinder stat

My system has an indirect hot water cylinder and i am going to fit a wireless cylinder stat due to other wiring access.
could someone tell me does the cylinder stat tell the main timer thermostat that the water is to hot and turn it off,as i cannot think that the stat should turn the pump off as it would affect the heating side
 
You should have a valve(s) somewhere which closes off and forces the water towards the hot water/heating vice versa.

I have a 2 way honeyway valve fitted to the heating side only.
