In my kitchen the light switch mostly blocked because the fridge in front of it....I have a tube light fitted and I think the council have hooked up a smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector aswell....would the wireless receiver be possible to still wire up to control the tube light?

Thanks

That device require a Neutral and Live to operate.

Switches have only Live and Switched Live. Live is Brown ( or Red ) and Switched Live is Blue ( or Black ) Switched Live should have a Brown ( or Red ) sleeve to indicate it is a Switched Live.

Also the labelling is wrong. Live is Brown and Neutral if present in the box behind the switch would be Blue. If the same attention to quality was given to the design and manufacture then I would personlly avoid using it.

No, that one is correctly labelled. It's the first of your photos which shows the incorrect labelling (in the same place).

Kind Regards, John

Your second image ( with the fingers ) has L as Brown ( correct ) but is different from the first one you posted which has L as Blue.

I assume you have two or more of these devices.

Yeh I’m sorry for the confusion over 1st pic ...the seller uses the pic on ebay...the rest of the pics I’ve taken after I received the item.

Do you guys think this receiver is doable?
The grey wire in theory would go with switched live (load)??
