Two questions

When using a wireless room stat

1/ How does it stop interference from a similar unit close by ? does it have selectable channels like doorbells have?

2/ Is there a non-programmable wireless stat that will replace a conventional wired stat without changing the existing programmer too?

Thank you.

Why not go for the Honeywell DT 92E programmable rf stat.

or

the DT 92A which is a wireless room stat.

Yes you can change channels and set the existing programmer to continuous if need be.

I think your memory is letting you down.

The programmable RF stat is the CM921 or CM927

The RF stat is the DT92E

Never heard of the DT92A!

Cheaper RF stats have switches to select the channel used. The better ones encode the transmission so only the correct receiver can react to the information. A bit like rf car keys.
