Currently have oil central heating/hot water with a timer with teeth. This can not be set for individual days. It operates by pushing teeth down for period heating required. Hot water is on all the time the teeth are pushed down. Heating is switched on by a lever situated beside hot water tank under stairs. Boiler is situated in garage.
Radiators have individual valves. Could a wireless room thermostat be installed. If so where would it be sited-where timer is situated currently or in garage where boiler is? Would signal carry to outside garage about 30 feet away.
If this is possible should we contact an electrician or a heating engineer to install it?
