Wireless Thermostat

Hello 1st post in the Boiler forum.

I have a Worchester Bosch Condensing boiler however at present we dont have a room thermostat.

I dont want to have wires everywhere so been looking at the wireless ones.

Will these work with any boiler?

Any other coments please

Wireless room stats will work with any boiler. The room stat kit has transmitter and receiver, the latter being fixed near the boiler and hard wired to the room stat terminals of the boiler, which should be shown on the boiler installation instructions.

Might just be me but I'd avoid the ones in B&Q. customer supplied one for me on recent job and it wouldn't work no matter how near or far it was.

stick to the major manufacturers honeywell/danfoss they seem to be the more reliable,just fitted a danfoss rf s plan in an old house with stone walls THICK and they work excellently cly was a good 30ft away from the receiver,room stat was left mobile to find the best comfort level.

dont allways work on long distance if u have the new 10 layer foil insulation in the house between devices,
