Wiring a Danler CESF PIR

I would like to install this PIR - http://www.danlers.co.uk/pir/cesfpir.html

so that the light in my cupboard which is inside my bathroom only switches on when i open the cupboard door and not every time i switch the bathroom lights on.

I have investigated my wiring and i only have a switched live at the ceiling light which would go to the PIR. This will mean that everytime i switch my bathroom lights on, the PIR will go through its start up mode and switch the light on - totally defeating the object.

What can i do and is it usual to only have a switched live at the light fitting?

A door switch?

This would be far better for the situation. A PIR will also stay on for a certain period after you close the door, where a door switch will go off instantly. Use the PIR elsewhere. Perhaps replace the bathroom pulswitch?
