I think i've got it! I can use the neutral and earth from the boiler for the pump.

oh yeah, I could even pick up the neutral and earth for the pump in the wiring centre.

Its important to ensure the power isolator turns off all lives to everything.

I have seen a system where a switched live could be powered just on its own. I dont remember boiler type but it produced some strange results.

Anyone worked out how to control a SWL and a boiler puimp feed if there were only twin and earth and it was impossible to add any more wires?

I think the easiest thing to do is get a vented boiler with a pump build it.

do you mean how to control a boiler that requires a permanent live, a switched live and a pump connected directly to it for overrun?
that only has one twin and earth to it?

then yes anything can be achieved using modern technology
use wireless devices
