Heya,
I have a single plug socket in my bedroom which could be part of a ring or radial (not too sure yet). Can I convert this to a double socket easily and can i also tap in somewhere to wire up a 2.4kw wall mounted heater???? Can i use 2.5mm wire and one length or two. Thanks in advance - Will

You need to find out. You don't mention the possibility that it's a spur - how do you know it's not?

It's not a hard job - you can either chisel out for a 2-gang box, & replace the socket or get one of those conversion jobbies that fits a single-gang box.

Depends entirely on whether the socket is already a spur, or not.

Don't know what you mean?
