Hi, I just moved into a house which has Vokera Compact HE boiler with mechanical clock timer on it which is super inconvenient and therefore would like to change to smart thermostat. My current boiler (Page 35 for wiring diagram): https://www.vokera.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/compact-he-installation-and-servicing-manual.pdf

I just tried to open the boiler cover and can see the wires related to clock as the image shows. I wonder if these are the only wires I need to use to connect a smart thermostat or do I need also other wires of the boiler?

I am currently quite interested in the tado-v3 smart thermostat and wonder if it would fits my boiler? Tado manual: https://cdn.brandfolder.io/607DGEMS...AL-WRP01IB01-INSTALLER_MANUAL-TA-UK-00-V2.pdf

I am also welcome other smart thermostat if Tado doesnt work and would love to have recommendations.

Thank you so much, I am really new to DIY

Can anyone help with this or let me know if further information is needed to support?

Yes the Tado will be ok, as long as you don't connect it via mains switching. There's a diagram in section 8 if the manual to state where wiring is fitted.
