Hi,

I’ve bought the LightwaveRF JSJSLW420 & JSJSLW450 to control the usual shared switch landing light scenario but I need help with the wiring and if it’s even possible…

We had a spotlight added upstairs to point to a painting, when the electrician did it there wasn’t enough space to feed another cable down to the switch so he fed it off the existing wiring (I think).

So all I want is the 1 gang dimmer downstairs to control the landing light
The 2 gang dimmer left switch upstairs to control the spot not effected the landing light
The 2 gang dimmer right switch upstairs to control the landing light.

What wires need to go where?

So as attachment:-
Left Photo = Downstairs switch
Switch to shared landing light

Wires fed from above
White to L1
Black to L2
Brown to L
Earth to box

Right photo = Upstairs switch
Left switch to spot light only controlled from this panel upstairs
Right switch to shared landing light

Wires fed from above
White to Left L2
Black to Right L2
Brown to Left L then wired back to right L1
Earth to box

Wires fed from below
White to Right L2
Black to Right L1
Brown to Right L
Earth to box

Wiring instructions for new switches

My thinking is the brown wire to L on both is my 'signal cable' as lightwave call it but which way round do the other wires go?

*edit just noticed wiring diagram was missing 'pointers' from pdf so added them
