Hi,

I am soon to be replacing my all in one oven with an intergrated hob and oven. As I only have one cable for the cooker at the moment, my question is is it ok to use the existing cable to go into the oven and then loop another cable out into the hob?

Thanks.

I'd like to see you try that! It's hard enough terminating one set of cables into most modern cookers.

No, you should use two separate cables, taking into acount the ratings of each appliance. You can buy a cooker connection unit that accepts two output cables.

Thanks that makes sense, the cooker connection unit goes back to a 45A fuse in the CU, is that ok or too high?

Cheers.
