Hi there,

1st post so please let me know if you need any more information.

I have a potterton boiler on a gravity feed system and would like to replace the current honeywell T630 stat with a wireless one. I have purchased a Honeywell CM67NG wireless stat that is programmable and also got the HC60NG reciever.

When I take the cover off the old stat I see 3 wires

blue is connected to 2
grn/ylw is connected to 3
brown is connected to 1

On the HC60NG the connections are indicated as

N L L A B C D E.

can someone please point me in the right direction as to which wires go where?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

need to know more about your system, model of boiler, motorised valves, old programmer (have you removed it or want it for hot water?) etc.

The receiver would normally be fitted near to the wiring center for ease as you need a permanent live, as at present your live will come via the programmer, this means that when the heating is off on the programmer then there will be no power to the receiver.

TS630B
Brown = Live
Blue = Neutral
Green / Yellow = Switch Live

HC60NG
N = Neutral (Blue wire)
L = Permanent Live (You do not have this at the present room stat)
L = Leave empty
A = Live (Link to Permanent live "L")
B = Switch Live (Green / Yellow Wire)
C = Leave Empty
D = Leave Empty
E = Leave Empty

Good luck

Brian
