I'm replacing our kitchen  and would like to put the fan and oven into fused connections rather than them being plugged in, whats the best way to do this, is it to have a spur coming off a fused switch and plugging in the oven behind a cupboard ( whats recommended for the fan ) the oven is gas but uses electric for the clock/timer so can it just be in the main socket ring with 13amp fused switch???
Thanks

I would recomend you plug them both in because it will make life easier for the future.

If you really want to "hard wire them" then it would be ideal if you used a fused spur for each

other brands of fused spur are available

Socket outlet spured from the switched fuse spur is fine for the oven as this is protected by the internal 13Amp fuse.

Seperate switched fuse spur is also required for fan and a socket outlet can be used above kitchen units or within units which ever you prefer or you can install a flex outlets instead of sockets.

It seems you know what your doing any-hows
