Wiring my House

I am looking to put some electrical/tv wiring inside the wall. i was looking to create a tunnel from the ground half way up the wall to where the tv will be. i was looking to use plastic trunking, my walls are render then plaster and so only about 15mm thick. most of the trunking i have seen is 50mm thick and so i would have chip into the brick unless anyone knows of any other way this could be done or where i could get a thiner trucking

Here's some widely available 16mm trunking.

Or you could just bury the cables directly into the wall.
