get at tester on it and flick the switch just to test for certain.you never know it may be provision for a frost stat!

i think the life is decresed but i picked this up off a GE 11w saving bulb in asdas. so check the box. if its and energy fitting though, i dont see a problem. double check though...

i may be giving bad info sorry if am!
