Hi can I pick your brains, I have 2 150w outdoor security lights that I put up just before I went on holiday. The wiring was already there from the previous lights but were wired straight into the board in the same breaker as the downstairs sockets by the previous house owners. I left it like this just so I could test the lights & pir's. I've now connected into it's owner breaker but when I switch it on the RCCB trips straight away. I've checked all the wiring in the lights but are fine so I rewired back into the downstairs socket breaker just to test it & again it trips the RCCB.... Any ideas as why?

Are there 2 lots of neutral blocks to connect to?

You probably have connected it into the wrong one.

Post a pic if the cu inside if that doesn't resolve it.

Andy you are a star thank you. Yep 2 neutral blocks and I had it in the wrong one, didn't realise it matter which one but it's not tripping now. One last question. The security lights work fine however I don't want them activating through the day so I've turned the night time dial but now the light stays on constant. The instruction manual is about as clear as mud. How do I get them to activate only on a night?
