I am fitting a timed extractor fan to the bathroom. Does anyone know the wiring diagram required to get it up and running

Not clear on what you mean by "can anyone know". I imagine anyone could know if they had such a diagram. But why do you need a diagram? You just hook it to the power and the light switch so it comes on with the switch and times itself off after the light is switched off. Didn't it come with a little slip of paper giving instructions?

i should assume it doesent. What colours are the wires you have?

You need a permenant feed (live) into the fan for the timer, not a problem if there are loop feed joints in at the existing light pendant.

The fan will have:

nuetral
live
switched live (same one that puts the light on)
earth

the connections should be identified at the connector block in the fan
