Hi,

Next door had a wood burner installed a few months ago. We have noticed tonight (possible it has always been like this) that our side of the party wall where the wood burner is gets quite hot.

I plan to have a word but haven't got a clue if this is normal or it has been badly installed.

Any help would be appreciated before I have a word with them.

I also don't want our wallpaper peeling off!

Thanks Paul

If it concerns you, you can always get them to install a heat shield at the back of their fire. Apart from the extension from the heat in the wall or the risk of children touching it, the free heat is a big bonus.
