I am currently fitting a solid pine floor onto an original concrete floor.
I have used joists (about 1 inch thick) 400 mm apart and have fixed them using hammer fixings.
It may be a little late but hopefully that will be okay.
My question is that my room is slighlty wider at one end (approx 1/4 inch)
What is the best way of getting the floor to fit properly?
Also is it best to put anything within the gaps and do I need dpm?
Hope some one can help! Thanks!
