wood flooring preparation over Marley tiles ?

Hi, I am looking into fitting wood flooring in my hall,at present there is a carpet and underlay over Marley tiles on a solid concrete floor built circa 1970.My question is what do I need in terms of underlay and possible dpm? I will be buying the flooring from one of the local diy outlets and will choose one of the better quality ones do I need the self adhesive underlay and dpm or can it go over normal felt underlay.Thanks for any advice
