wood flooring straight onto floorboards - help please

third questions !! - I am laying a solid oak 15mm flooring straight onto existing floorboards as they are even not cupped and in good nick ( this will eleviate any issues re doorways etc..) - i am going to secret nail straight onto joists - do i need an underlay and do i need to glue aswell..
