We need to replace our old, rusty crittal windows. We've had varying advise on which is best - wood or upvc. We live in the cotswolds and want windows in keeping with the area. I understand there are styles on the market which look like wood but are a composite but I can't seem to find any. Our key requirements are double glazed, sash, excellent heat and sound insullation, low maintenance (if wood, no need to repaint for 8 years or so). Any one have any suggestions on manufacturers and suppliers? (local = Near Swindon). Cheers, Brian.
