Hi, I received a wooden 3D world map for my birthday, it is fixed to the wall by double sided tape which makes it stand about 5mm from the wall, I have used the LED lighting strips in the past and technically these would fit behind but the connectors etc are more bulky than the strip so won’t fit, are there any other suitable solutions out there to back light my world please

Ok, so you will have a cable dropping down from the map.

Can you solder? If not some push in connectors that are small enough or dig out the wall a little bit.

I abandoned the idea of the lighting. Sorry.
Just went with the map and wired some downlights into the ceiling for the lighting effect.

Thanks all, I think I will put a pin in the idea for now, the map is self adhesive so I can always tinker in the future. Thanks for your replies
